In Portugal and around the world, animals used and exploited for human consumption are the most abused, disrespected and forgotten in our society. Every day, thousands of individuals are killed on legal (and illegal) livestock farms and in slaughterhouses , fighting until their last breath for the life that was never theirs.
Pigs, chickens, sheep, ducks, goats, turkeys, cattle, quails are born by the thousands every day inside industrial and home factories without realizing that their arrival in this life will bring them nothing positive.
Saving some of these forgotten victims from an industry that doesn't even see them as living beings who feel love, pain, who are conscious, who love life, is our life mission.
We know that we cannot save everyone, we cannot change the world tomorrow, but we can save someone's universe every day, and we can change someone's life tomorrow, today, every day, because it is never too late to do the right thing and it is never too late to practice the ethical and moral values that we defend through words.
